1. About Us

Shoebox Studios provides photo scanning and family archiving services in Auckland. You can contact us at contact@shoeboxstudios.co.nz or 021 0800 6630.

2. Our Service

We provide photo scanning, editing, archiving, and related services. Specific services are confirmed during your free consultation or booking.

3. Pricing

  • All work is quoted individually

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins

  • The remaining balance is due when the job is complete

  • We accept bank transfer

Prices are in NZD and include GST where applicable.

4. Estimates and Quotes

We will provide an estimate before work begins. The final price will not exceed the estimate unless the scope of the job changes, in which case we will discuss this with you first.

5. Your Photos

You confirm that you own the photos or have permission to have them scanned. We handle your photos with care, but you remain responsible for them while they're in your possession. We're not liable for damage that occurs before or after our scanning session.

6. Scanned Files

Files are delivered on your USB, on a USB purchased from us for $15, or via cloud link. We keep backups for 14 days after delivery, then delete them. We recommend you back up your files promptly.

7. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible.

8. Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

9. Privacy

We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Statement.

10. Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time of your booking applies.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
